Is Tru-Brix real brick?

Yes! The brick tile are produced and fired just like traditional building brick by one of the country's leading brick manufacturers.

Can Tru-Brix be installed on my home?

Tru-Brix works on virtually any existing structure, regardless of shape, size, or architectural details. This system can be installed on both residential and commercial buildings, on the outside and inside walls.

How long will installation take?

It takes approximately 1 man hour to complete 4 to 6 square feet of Tru-Brix on any project, but installation time will vary according to the square footage of the structure. Also, jobs requiring scaffolding and those with a lot of detail work, short runs, and many windows or corners will require more time.

Is there a warranty on the Tru-Brix system?

Yes! We offer a comprehensive and transferable 50 Year Warranty on the system. Click Here to view the warranty!

How many brick choices are available?

We have a large variety of brick colors and styles to choose from. Click here to see the available colors and styles.

How many colors of mortar are available?

We stock three colors: a tan, a buff, and a gray. Click here to see the stock colors. We can have almost any color made to fit your specific needs; please remember that custom mortar colors may require an upcharge depending on amount ordered.

Where does water go when it gets into the system?

The majority of the water that hits the masonry wall will run down the face of the brick. When the wall is saturated with wind-driven rain, water may be pushed into the system, where it typically collects in the rail. The water will then drain to the corners of the rail and flow down to grade.

Are weep holes necessary in the bottom course?

No. A properly installed job will drain down to grade because the Tru-Brix system is designed to use the Tru-Brix building wrap to allow the collected water in the rail to travel to grade behind the steel rail and not penetrate the building. You can view the ASTM testing results for more information.

How much waste should I allow for during installation?

You should allow for 2-3% waste on the tiles, and 3-5% on all other materials.
